Good Schedule Privacy Policy

Good Schedule ("Good Schedule," "we," "our," or "us") is a simple static schedule display app from Syllabi LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how that information is handled.

Good Schedule does not require an account. It is designed to let you create one or more local schedules, display the active schedule in the app and iOS Home Screen widgets, share a schedule image when you choose, and optionally receive local reminder notifications.

1. Information We Collect

Local schedule data

Good Schedule stores the schedules you create on your device. This may include schedule names, row titles, locations, times, recurrence rules, marker and column settings, widget style choices, completion state, reminder settings, and related app preferences.

This information is stored locally on your device and in the app's shared App Group container so the widget can display your selected schedule. We do not receive a copy of your schedules.

Widget data

If you use the Good Schedule iOS Home Screen widget, the app writes the selected schedule and display settings into the app's shared App Group container so the widget can show the same schedule as the app.

This widget data stays on your device.

Reminder notifications

If you enable reminders, Good Schedule may ask iOS for notification permission and schedule local notifications for upcoming schedule items. Notification scheduling is handled on your device through Apple's local notification system.

Good Schedule does not send your schedule items to Syllabi servers to provide reminders.

Shared content you create

If you use the Share action, Good Schedule may create a temporary image of the current schedule display and pass it to the iOS share sheet. What happens next depends on the destination you choose in the share sheet.

Good Schedule does not receive or store the messages, posts, files, or other content you send through the iOS share sheet.

Purchase and App Store information

If Good Schedule is distributed through the App Store as a paid app, purchase and billing are handled by Apple. We do not store full payment card information.

Device and diagnostic information

Good Schedule does not include third-party advertising or general analytics SDKs. Apple may provide limited crash or diagnostic information through standard App Store and developer tools if you install a distributed build and diagnostics are available. That information, when present, is used only to improve reliability.

2. How We Use Information

We use local app data to:

  • create, edit, and display your schedules
  • remember the active schedule and display settings
  • keep the Home Screen widget aligned with your selected schedule
  • schedule local reminders when you enable them
  • create a shareable schedule image when you choose Share
  • avoid showing first-run prompts repeatedly

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your schedule content for advertising.

3. No Account and No Good Schedule Cloud Sync

Good Schedule does not require a Good Schedule account.

Good Schedule does not provide its own cloud sync. Schedule data, widget data, and local preferences remain on your device unless you choose to share content or contact us for support.

4. Third-Party Services

Good Schedule may interact with:

  • Apple, for App Store distribution, purchases, crash reports, diagnostics, app installation, widgets, local notifications, and the iOS share sheet
  • Syllabi support systems, if you contact us for help by email

Good Schedule does not include third-party advertising SDKs.

5. Data Retention

Local schedules and preferences remain on your device until you delete schedules in the app, uninstall the app, or remove app data.

Widget data remains in the app's shared container until replaced, removed by the app, or removed when app data is deleted.

Temporary share images may be removed by the app, by iOS, or by uninstalling the app.

If you contact us for support, we retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to help you and maintain ordinary business records.

6. Your Choices

You can:

  • create, edit, reorder, and delete schedules and schedule rows in the app
  • choose which schedule appears in the widget
  • choose whether to enable local reminders
  • choose whether to use Share
  • uninstall Good Schedule to remove local app data from your device
  • contact us for support or privacy questions

Because Good Schedule does not sync its own app data to Syllabi servers, deleting the app removes local Good Schedule data that we would otherwise have no copy of.

7. Children's Privacy

Good Schedule is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. International Users

Good Schedule stores app data locally on your device. If you contact us for support, your message may be processed where our support systems operate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we may update the effective date above or provide additional notice where appropriate.
